Children's Advocacy Centers of Virginia provides multiple training opportunities throughout the year. Keep an eye on this page for updated registration information.
ChildFirst™ Virginia
ChildFirst™ Virginia is a forensic interview week-long training held three times each year at different locations across the state for CAC staff, CPS investigators, detectives and commonwealth attorneys. Remaining sessions for this year will be held July 15-19 in Winchester and September 9-13 in Richmond. Registration for the next session will open in April.
Evidentia Learning
Evidentia Learning develops e-learning solutions solely in the field of child maltreatment in partnership with the most experienced and respected authors. CACVA offers member centers access to their MDT Series, intended for child abuse professionals who participate on a multidisciplinary team in the investigation of child abuse.
